Mexico: Part One.
Hello, everyone! We're back from Mexico and, oh heavens, it was absolutely amazing. Each year brings different experiences and adventures, yet we always leave with the same feeling of love and humility. I'm so thankful for the opportunities I have had serving with this organization. It is truly such a blessing that has, and will continue to, deeply influence my life. I could write for years about what this organization has brought me, but I will leave it at this: for more information on our service organization, Families Helping Families, click here. For the first section of this year's adventure through photograph, continue reading.
The view from my balcony. Can't get enough of this place, really.
We took a little detour for some Christmas Eve fireworks. I feared for mine and the rest of Mexico's lives when I witnessed four-year-olds lighting M80's. (A little dramatic, but frightening, nonetheless.)
A beautiful family we had the opportunity to meet on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas day, we had the chance to bring a good meal to some families near the railroad tracks. So many beautiful children with such sweet spirits.
This little man melts my papa's heart. Our little friend Giuliani runs and jumps into my daddy's arms whenever he catches even a glimpse of him.
Melts you, I know.
Pictures of the home building projects to come!
Feliz Navidad, everyone.
